Meganet Corporation, a pioneer data security software solutions
developer, has announced today the recent achievement of two new NIST
certifications for its core engine.
The US Government, as
well as organizations around the world, now requires IT security
products and solutions to meet stringent industry standards based on
defined standard security schemes. NIST’s FIPS certification is an
internationally recognized standard used for this testing.
In the United States, NVLAP accredited Cryptographic Module
Testing (CMT) laboratories is the body granting certificates for
conformance. This organization is governed jointly by the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Security
Agency (NSA).
