task. VME Gateway™ lets you encrypt and decrypt all email messages
on-the-fly with Meganet’s trusted, unbreakable Virtual Matrix
Encryption (VME) without affecting any formatting or layout. So,
even if hackers manage to intercept the email, the VME Secured™
messages will remain encrypted and appear as binary junk.
VME Gateway™ works with any SMTP mail system using rules set by the
administrator to determine who may send or
receive mail from whom and what keys are used to encrypt and decrypt
messages. All keys are set up and stored in a VME Secured™ database.
Attachments and messages can be sent as self-decrypting files for
recipients who do not have VME. VME Gateway™ scans all incoming
mail and attachments for viruses with virus definitions that are
updated on-the-fly.
